PRESS CONFRENCE WITH ROSITA MISSONI
As part of the Calcalist Mag team, I joined to a press conference with Rosita Missoni, the founder of the Italian fashion house Missoni. It took place at a fabric and home tools boutique in Tel Aviv. It was so exciting being a part of it, and listen to what she has to say. She told us the story of how it all began, how her husband and she started their brand together as a young couple. They started making different types of fabrics that later on led them to start making clothes and become one of the biggest fashion houses in Italy and the world. While she was telling her story, she started talking about her family and made us understand that no matter what clothes you’ll wear or how fast is your car, at the end of the day the most important thing in life is family, and the people you love and loves you back. It was really touching to hear a thing like that coming out of a woman like her- I mean she can get anything she want in life, and yet she is so modest, simple, funny and friendly! It was fascinating hearing her story and tips for life. Furthermore, she was wearing a colorful MISSONI coat, and Flea Market jewelry! It was so beautiful to see! A woman whom can wear as much diamonds as she wants prefers a plastic flea market clutch earrings! Another moto I got from this day and that inspiring woman is that fashionable doesn’t mean expensive!!! We all know it, but sometimes we don’t really act by it, fashion is personal! Don’t be afraid to match your Louboutin with your 20$ dress.
